Day 1: Arrival in Bhutan – Welcome to the Land of the Thunder Dragon

Day 2: Immersing in Thimphu’s Rich Heritage

Begin your day at the Takin Preserve, home to Bhutan’s unique national animal, a rare and peculiar-looking species found only in the region. Next, visit Buddha Dordenma, one of the world's largest seated Buddha statues, perched on a hill overlooking Thimphu Valley.

Step back in time at the Simply Bhutan Museum, where you’ll experience traditional Bhutanese life, architecture, and customs. In the afternoon, witness the meticulous artistry of Bhutanese craftsmen at the Institute of Zorig Chusum (School of Arts & Crafts).

Stroll through the lively Kaja Throm, a vibrant marketplace filled with fresh produce, dry goods, and local delicacies. As evening falls, explore the Craft Bazaar, where artisans showcase Bhutanese handicrafts. End the day wandering through the charming streets of Thimphu, soaking in the city’s perfect blend of tradition and modernity.

Day 3: Journey to Dochula Pass and Paro

After breakfast, set off for Paro, but first visiting Docula Pass at the breathtaking Dochula Pass (3,100m), where 108 sacred stupas stand against a backdrop of the majestic Himalayan peaks. Take in the fresh mountain air and capture some unforgettable photographs.

Upon arrival in Paro, visit Drukgyel Dzong, an ancient fortress that once defended Bhutan from Tibetan invasions. Though destroyed by fire in the 1950s, it has been beautifully restored and remains a symbol of Bhutanese resilience.

Next, visit the National Museum of Bhutan, housed in a historic watchtower, where you’ll discover fascinating exhibits on Bhutan’s culture, history, and spirituality. In the evening, take a leisurely walk through Paro’s picturesque streets, lined with traditional wooden houses, cozy cafés, and boutique shops.

Day 4: The Legendary Tiger’s Nest & Bhutan’s Spiritual Heart

Today’s adventure takes you on a hike to Paro Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest Monastery), one of Bhutan’s most iconic landmarks. Perched dramatically on a cliffside 900 meters above the valley, this sacred monastery offers awe-inspiring views and a profound spiritual experience. The trek takes about 4-5 hours round trip, with stops at scenic viewpoints along the way.

After the hike, explore Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest and most revered temples, believed to have been built in the 7th century. This ancient site radiates peace and spirituality.

Spend your evening strolling through Paro town, absorbing the unique atmosphere of this charming valley, where tradition meets modern Bhutanese life.

Day 5: Farewell to Bhutan

After a relaxed morning, your guide will escort you to Paro International Airport for your departure. As you bid farewell to Bhutan, you’ll carry with you unforgettable memories of breathtaking landscapes, rich culture, and the warmth of Bhutanese hospitality.
